Martin Káňa, MgA., is a Czech artist and lecturer specializing in drawing, painting, and sculpture. He graduated from the Drawing Studio of Jitka Svobodová at the and has been exhibiting his work since the mid-1990s. His artistic practice explores drawing as both a fundamental artistic discipline and a conceptual tool, combining traditional observation with experimentation across media and industrial materials. Káňa’s work has been exhibited widely and is represented in the collections of major institutions, including the . Petr Bařinka, MgA., is a Czech visual artist and educator. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under Prof. Kurt Gebauer before completing postgraduate studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava under Prof. Ivan Csudai.

His work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions across the Czech Republic and internationally, and is represented in the collections of the and other public and private collections. A recipient of the National Gallery 333 Art Award and the ESSL Art Award: VIG Special Invitation, Bařinka brings extensive contemporary artistic practice and exhibition experience to his teaching.

Tereza Violet Stehlíková is a Czech/British artist, researcher, writer, and educator. She holds a doctorate and master’s degree in Animation from the Royal College of Art in London, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Central Saint Martins. Her work spans moving image, installation, participatory performance, writing, and artistic research, with a focus on sensory and embodied experience in meaning-making.

Stehlíková began her research appointment at Anglo-American University in 2026. Her academic experience includes roles at the University of Westminster, the Royal College of Art, and the University of Creative Communication in Prague. She also teaches artistic research at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and UMPRUM.

Her cross-disciplinary research connects artistic practice, sensory studies, philosophy, experimental psychology, and art-science dialogue. Her monograph Exiled from Our Bodies: How to Come Back to Our Senses was published by Routledge in 2025. She is founder and editor of Tangible Territory and co-founder of “Ecstatic Truth,” an international symposium series on expanded animation and documentary practice.

Her films, installations and participatory performances have been presented internationally, including at Whitechapel Gallery, Danielle Arnaud Gallery, Prague Quadrennial, Somerset House, Stadtkino Vienna, the British Film Institute London Film Festival, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, and the Under_the_RADAR festival in Vienna.

Zuzana Říhová is an acclaimed scholar of avant-garde and modernism as well as a writer. She graduated with a degree in Czech and Comparative literature at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Her research centres on the Czech avant-garde and modernism in a wider European context. Říhová consistently publishes in foreign academic journals (eg. Central Europe, Journal of Modern Literature) and collective monographs (Avantgarden im Zentraleuropa, A Cambridge History of World War One Poetry). In 2013, she received a Czech Academy of Sciences Award for Outstanding Research. As a fiction writer, her novel Playing Wolf was shortlisted for the top Czech fiction prize in 2022 and translated into several languages.

Since 2007, Říhová has been a member of the Institute of Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and she lectured at a variety of both public and private universities. She also served as a director of PSCC. In 2014, she became Head of Czech at Oxford University, and she was a visiting professor at Columbia University (2018–19). She has completed several internships abroad (SUNY, University of Glasgow, University College London, Humboldt Univerzität zu Berlin); she is regularly invited to give public or university lectures (Université libre de Bruxelles, University of Vienna, Oxford University, Bohemian National Hall, New York).

At AAU, Říhová teaches classes on modernism (Modernist Metropolis) and creative writing – writing fiction is her passion. When she isn’t writing, she lifts kettlebells, runs, and picks mushrooms with her two daughters.

Havranek je hlavním kurátorem . Je držitelkou francouzského postgraduálního diplomu (DEA) z dějin umění, kritiky a památkové péče na univerzitě v Rennes 2. V letech 1999-2016 působila jako kurátorka a vedoucí programů pro galerii a kino ve Francouzském institutu v Praze.

Od roku 2016 je zodpovědná za rozvoj dramaturgie Kunsthalle Praha, kde její nedávné kurátorské aktivity zahrnovaly site-specific instalace a nové zakázky, jako např. Projekt fasády série (2017-2021). Living Kunsthalle (2019), a Mark Dion's Kabinet elektrických kuriozit (2021).

Havránek byl také kurátorem první velké retrospektivy Gregora Hildebrandta (2022-2023) a výstavy Chiharu Shiota. Neklidná duše (2024-2025). Byla spolukurátorkou zahajovací výstavy v Kunsthalle Praha, Kinetismus: 100 let elektřiny v umění (2022), READ od společnosti Elmgreen & Dragset (2023-2024) a Lucia Moholy: Expozice (2024).

Havránek je editorem a spolueditorem několika publikací. Na AAU vyučuje kurátorská studia.

Petříková je výtvarná umělkyně, filmařka a badatelka. Je absolventkou FAMU (Centrum audiovizuálních studií) a UMPRUM (Ateliér supermédií) a v roce 2024 získala na FAMU doktorát v oboru Teorie filmu a multimédií. 

V roce 2020 Petříková obdržela Cenu Jacquese Derridy pro mladé badatele v humanitních vědách, kterou uděluje Francouzské velvyslanectví v Praze, a v roce 2023 byla vybrána do programu Berlinale Talents. Aktivně se věnuje experimentálnímu filmu a pohyblivému obrazu a účastnila se řady samostatných i skupinových výstav. Němcová absolvovala doktorské studium na Katolické teologické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy, kde v letech 2017-2020 přednášela o moderním a současném umění v kontextu Prahy. Předtím, v letech 2014-2015, pracovala v bibliografickém oddělení Ústavu dějin umění AV ČR, následně do roku 2020 působila jako odborná lektorka v Národní galerii v Praze. V současné době je Němcová kurátorkou Sbírky umění 19. století a klasické moderny Národní galerie. Ve své soustavné badatelské a publikační činnosti se zaměřuje především na oblast českého veřejného umění první poloviny 20. století.

Dragan Dragin je oceňovaný pražský fotograf pocházející z bývalé Jugoslávie (Srbsko). Začínal jako mladý filmař, později získal magisterský titul v oboru ekonomie a poté přešel k fotografii a začal svou kariéru v místních novinách v Novém Sadu.

Jeho fotografie byly vystaveny v různých zemích, například v České republice, Polsku, Německu, Francii, Belgii, Holandsku, Itálii, Srbsku, Černé Hoře, Jižní Koreji a Mexiku. Některá jeho díla jsou součástí sbírek institucí, jako je Tanzovo muzeum v Kolíně nad Rýnem, Národní galerie v Praze, Divadelní ústav v Praze, ale i soukromých sbírek.

Dragan vyučoval na Duncan Centre Conservatory, SIT Study Abroad a BART Summer Academy v Černé Hoře a dále se vzdělával v oboru fotografie na Filmové a televizní fakultě Akademie múzických umění (FAMU). V roce 1991 se přestěhoval do Prahy.

Josef Zaruba-Pfefferman vystudoval dějiny umění na Univerzitě Karlově v Praze a hudbu na Akademii múzických umění. Specializuje se na křesťanskou ikonografii. V roce 2008 ukončil postgraduální studium /doktorátem/ na téma pozdně středověké zbožnosti (Nedělní Kristus). Zúčastnil se výměnného programu Erasmus na Universität der Künste v Berlíně a na Freie Universität v Berlíně, později byl jeden rok držitelem Fulbrightova stipendia. Od té doby působí jako lektor na mnoha univerzitách, mimo jiné na Karlově univerzitě, University of Florida a dalších.

Do roku 2017 byl členem vědecké rady Pražské judaistiky Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy. V letech 2015-2019 byl hlavním kurátorem festivalu Sculpture Line, který instaluje současné sochy v mnoha evropských městech. 

V současné době působí také na ČVUT v Praze, na katedře architektury. V roce 2022 absolvoval habilitační řízení s prací týkající se mezioborových vztahů hudby a výtvarného umění.

Daniel absolvoval Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze v roce 2004. Daniel Vlček si dal od malby pauzu a vrátil se k ní po okružní cestě přes freetechno a několik hudebních formací různých žánrů. Jeho nejnovější vizuální parafráze zvukových fenoménů - ať už jsou namalované na plátnech, vyškrábané do zdí nebo mají podobu audiovizuálních instalací - obsahují rezidua špinavé psychedelie techno estetiky i aluze na modernistické přepisy zvuku do obrazu. Ačkoli se zabývá především malbou, jeho výstavy jsou často doplněny o zvukovou složku, aby se zdůraznilo zásadní propojení se zvukem v jeho tvorbě. Daniel ve své práci často odkazuje na průmysl, autenticitu a dichotomie jako neviditelné/viditelné, digitální/analogové a ruční/strojová výroba. Daniel je členem umělecké skupiny Guma Guar a polovinou avant-popového dua ba:zel. Vystupuje také sólově pod jménem Relaxcore.
